We found Yevgenia's father!
Recently we had a call from a distant Siberia. Young girl was looking for her Nigerian father, whom she haven't seen for over 10 years. We knew very little detail, and luckily could help Yevgenia! Special thanks to Forum AFRICARU Aslo to all of those who made numerous calls locally and abroad, sent e-mails, trying to get more information and establish contacts and simply wished us well in our searches. We wish you all the best, Yevgenia! Oxana Gouli

WE WERE INFORMED THAT DR AMOS ADEKOYA DIED ON 22 MARCH 2008.
OUR CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY OF DR ADEKOYA. WE ARE SORRY
THAT WE WERE TOO LATE.
1. Dr. Amos Ayinla Adekoya
DoB: 1949
Area of search: Kaduna, Nigeria
Who is searching: Arthur Adetoro Adekoya
Searching since: 1995
Message : I am looking for my father dr.A.A.Adekoya. He came from Africa to Ukraine,
Simferopol in the end of 70-s to study Medicine in Krymskij Medical Institute. There he met
my mother, Zoya Borshaj and married her in 1979 in Simferopol. He graduated in 1980 as a
Gynaecologist. I was born in the same year, and shortly we all left for Kaduna, Nigeria. My
father was serving as a medical doctor in the Nigerian Army (Nigerian Army Reference
Hospital Kaduna Nigeria). We think that this is the name of the hospital where he was
serving.
We stayed in Kaduna until 1983. My mother gave birth to my baby brother, but unfortunately
the baby died from a disease (I am unsure what it was). My mother, distressed at the death
of my brother, decided to return to Ukraine, and took me with her. We lived in Ukraine ever
since.
My father was in contact with me until 1997, he called, wrote to me and visited. He invited me
to travel to Nigeria, but my mother was against me going there. Because of the conflict, she
severed all the contacts with him. I tried to write to the old address of my father, but the
letters had been returned to me unable to reach the recipient.
I really want to meet my father again and tell him about my wonderful wife, whom I married in
2005 and my baby daughter, his granddaughter. I wish to introduce them to my father.
I think that since we moved houses and changed our address several times, this was the
reason why he couldn't contact me.
As far as I know, my father was an owner of a private clinic:
я знаю,что у моего отца есть своя клиника A.P.3 Gamagika Rd, Unguwan Sanusi, Tudun-
Wada, Kaduna,Nigeria. I wrote there but had no response. May be it is an old address or my
letter did not reach him.
Also I have a postal address of my father's friend Dr A.W Ajiduku PO Box 92 Gwagwalada F.
C.T. Abuja Nigeria.
I also know that my grandparents lived somewhere not far from Lagos and one my uncles
lives in Washington. My father were contacting my mother through him.
I have few photos of my father, which I hope may be useful. On a group photo my father is
next to my mother and me amongst his fellow students of Medical Institute in Simferopol.
I would be grateful for any information about my father.
